Introduction
My name is Renee Cummings, LCSW and I am a therapist, a 200 hour registered yoga teacher, and the owner of Cardinal Counseling & Yoga, LLC.
Connecticut, Illinois, and Florida Telehealth with immediate openings: I am a licensed clinical social worker and work with folks that reside in Connecticut, Illinois, or Florida.
I often hear "I just want to have someone to talk to." My role as a therapist working with you is to be that person that you feel safe, secure, and connected with so that we can talk and work through whatever it is that brings you to therapy. I value the therapeutic relationship and establishing a genuine connection as we work together towards your outcome of treatment. In treatment, I focus on your goals with the aim of helping you to thrive.
I believe that we all experience bumps in the road on this journey we call LIFE. I am committed to providing quality and effective therapeutic services to you!
My approach is client centered, strength-based, and solution focused. I work with teenagers, young adults, and any age adult from 18+. I no longer work with children under the age of 16. I provide clients therapeutic services including individual therapy for mental health, behavioral health, and healthy relationships.
